  1. Chris Dukes says:

Chris Dukes is an exciting and gifted multi-talented singer, songwriter, and instrumentalist from Albany, New York, who has opened for Third Eye Blind, Marcy Playground, Eddie Money, Antigone Rising, Keller Williams, among others, and comedians Colin Quinn and Nick DiPaolo.

Chris’ single “You’re Gone” charted on the “Online Radio Breakout Chart” the week of October 4, 2011.

If his voice sounds familiar, that’s because you’ve heard him sing on commercials for major corporations like General Electric, Kodak, F.Y.E, and “The Home Depot Anthem.”

Though primarily drawn to Rock and Pop, his musical influences range through a broad spectrum which is clearly noticeable in his songs. Chris molds his original writing style into songs filled with catchy hooks, poignant lyrics and creative counter-melodies as heard in his new album, “Greater Than Me,” his latest collection of radio-ready rock anthems and ballads.

Bruce Miller, World Class Producer and Mixing Engineer, who has worked with many top artists including The White Stripes, Mariah Carey, Dave Matthews Band, Luther Vandross, Whitney Houston, C+C Music Factory, Aretha Franklin, Natalie Cole, Billy Idol, Duran Duran, has said the following about Chris:

“In this day and age of increasingly disposable music it is refreshing to hear artists such as Chris Dukes. Chris writes songs that express real feelings, and performs those songs with a compelling passion. The strength, intensity, and honesty of Chris’ music allowed me to make each mix a true expression.”

I have been using Notion since it was 2.0! Cannot believe it is already 4.0; my how fast it grew up!
I use it for full orchestral scores, composition, theory practice, accompaniment for recordings, examples or compositions. Because it is EASIER to enter than other scoring software. It is possible to have the result sound “real” with the variety of articulations and instruments. Technical support is individualized and they remember the customer! Like “old” friends.

  5. I just purchased Notion 4, and I think it is a great software, very intuitive with a high quality orchestra sounds especially, I have yet to get used to working in, but in my opinion is a great tool for composing.
